Greetings from the beautiful Essequibo Coast! My name is Emani Duncan, and I proudly call 56 Bedford Street in Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. Growing up here has allowed me to immerse myself in the rich tapestry of Guyanese culture, from the vibrant markets of Anna Regina to the serene landscapes along our coast. The warmth of our community and the flavors of our local dishes, like pepperpot and cook-up rice, have shaped my identity and instilled a deep appreciation for our heritage.
As a resident of Pomeroon, I understand the challenges we face and the resilience required to address them.
