Hello! I’m Eon Lawrie, a dedicated farmer based in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region, specifically along the Coast Public Road in Better. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant communities of Guyana has inspired my passion for agriculture and sustainability. I believe in the importance of nurturing our land and producing quality crops that reflect the rich flavors of our culture—from the sweet, juicy mangoes to the hearty cassava that many of us enjoy in our traditional dishes.
My roots run deep in this land, where every sunrise brings the promise of hard work and connection to the earth. Whether it's assisting my neighbors or sharing a meal of cook-up rice with friends on a Saturday, the spirit of camaraderie is ever-present. I often reminisce about the lively gatherings at local spots like Portion Manawarin or the warm evenings spent on the banks of the Pom River, where stories of our ancestors and heritage come alive.
