Hello! I'm Errickca Peru, a proud resident of the Essequibo North Housing Scheme in the vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Although we sit geographically in South America, our hearts and souls resonate with the rich and lively culture of the Caribbean. From the lively sounds of soca and calypso to the mouthwatering flavors of pepperpot and roti, my life is a celebration of the diverse influences that shape our wonderful land.
Living in Essequibo, I'm lucky to be surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of our rivers, including the Pomeroon River, where I often find peace and inspiration. My roots run deep in this community, where we share stories, laughter, and traditions that remind us of our unique identity. Whether it's engaging in lively discussions about local football or whipping up a delicious meal featuring fresh ingredients from our gardens, I cherish the connections I have with my neighbors and fellow Guyanese, both here and in the diaspora.
