Hello! I’m Errol Babb, a proud Guyanese and captain based in St. Lawrence on the East Bank of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of Guyana, I've developed a deep love for our beautiful rivers and the rich traditions that make our country unique. Whether navigating the Essequibo or sharing tales of my adventures, I strive to embody the spirit of our homeland in all that I do.
As a captain, I cherish the opportunity to connect with both locals and visitors, sharing delicious Guyanese dishes like curry duck (even if it sometimes leads to playful debates about the ingredients!). My heart swells with pride when I see the diaspora celebrating our culture, from the mouthwatering aromas of cook-up rice to the lively sounds of our music. I’m always eager to introduce others to our culinary delights and the stories tied to them, especially the significance of landmarks like River Bat Creek at Karawab!
