Hello! I’m Eshwar Dias, a dedicated teacher based in the vibrant community of East Bank Essequibo, situated along the picturesque Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich cultural heritage of Guyana has profoundly shaped my passion for education and community engagement. Whether it's sharing the stories of our ancestors or exploring the diverse flavors of our local cuisine—like pepperpot or cook-up rice—I strive to instill pride and knowledge in my students about our unique Guyanese identity.
As an educator, I believe in connecting lessons to our real-world experiences, often using local landmarks such as the iconic Essequibo River or the bustling markets in Georgetown as teaching tools. I also cherish the connections with the Guyanese diaspora, who share fond memories of Mashramani celebrations and the warmth of our people, reinforcing that our culture and community extend far beyond our borders.
