Hello! I'm Euwayne Isaacs, a proud resident of Pomona on the Essequibo Coast. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and vibrant communities of Guyana has shaped my identity and perspective on life. Whether it's enjoying the comforting flavors of curry and roti or sharing a laugh with friends over a plate of fried plantains, my heart is deeply rooted in the rich culinary traditions of our Caribbean culture. I believe there's nothing like the warmth of our local food to bring people together, and I always encourage others to explore the diverse culinary gems our region has to offer.
Living in Pomona, I often find joy in the simple beauties around me—be it the stunning sunsets over the Essequibo River or the bustling local markets filled with fresh produce. Guyana is a work in progress, but the resilience and spirit of our people shine through every day. I cherish the connections I maintain with fellow Guyanese in the diaspora, who share memories of home and inspire one another to celebrate our culture no matter where we are in the world.
