Greetings! I am Faizul Isahack, a proud Coordinator residing in the vibrant community of Essequibo, specifically in the New Housing area of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up alongside the serene banks of the Pomeroon River, the natural beauty of our surroundings—like the lush landscapes of Akawini and the tranquil waters of the Upper Pom River—has deeply influenced my life and work. My heart is always at home among the rich cultural heritage that defines our region, from the rhythmic sounds of the traditional drumming to the aromatic spices that infuse our beloved dishes, such as pepperpot and cook-up rice.
