Hello! I’m Farzana Baksh, a proud resident of Coast Demerara, residing on First Street Ocean in the vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich traditions of Guyana, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our unique cultural blend. Despite being geographically distinct from the Caribbean islands, I cherish Guyana's connection to the Caribbean through our membership in CARICOM and our shared love for music and dance. And yes, I might occasionally find myself in a colorful Indian outfit while jamming to some Jamaican tunes—just part of the beautiful confusion that makes us Guyanese!
