Greetings! My name is Morisa Fedricks, and I proudly call Mission in the Barima-Waini region of Guyana my home. Nestled along the stunning banks of the Pomeroon River, my community is rich in culture and natural beauty. From savouring a plate of pepperpot during family gatherings to exploring the vibrant festivals that celebrate our diverse heritage, life here is imbued with the warmth of tradition and community spirit. As we say, it’s all about the ‘lower Pom River Hoodoo mainland’ that connects us to our roots.
As a resident of this beautiful country, I have a deep appreciation for our local landmarks, like the majestic Kaieteur Falls and the lush rainforests that cradle our unique wildlife. I often find myself reminiscing about the delightful flavors of our local cuisine, where every dish tells a story.
