Welcome to my corner of the world! My name is Fernando Boyan, a proud resident of Pomeroon River Friendship Back Lands in Guyana. Living in this beautiful region, I am surrounded by the lush landscapes of our beloved country, from the magnificent Essequibo River to the vibrant flora and fauna that make our home unique. There's nothing quite like the aroma of cook-up rice wafting through the air, or the sound of a tassa band echoing at community gatherings, reminding us of our rich cultural heritage.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I cherish the connections we maintain with those who have ventured far and wide. I often reminisce about the days of sharing stories and laughter over a plate of pepperpot or cassava bread, bonding over our shared experiences and the challenges we face. It’s heartwarming to see fellow Guyanese, whether near or far, engage in conversations about our homeland, as seen in the vibrant exchanges on various platforms where people express their love and longing for Guyana.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
