Hello! My name is Feyaz Mohamed, and I am a proud farmer residing in the vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana, specifically on the Coast 27-28 East of Public Road. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery and rich waterways of the Pomeroon River, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the land and the fruits it yields. My days are filled with nurturing crops like rice and cassava, which not only sustain my family but also represent the heart of our local culture and culinary traditions, including the beloved pepperpot and roti.
Living in Guyana, I have learned that our people are as diverse as the rich landscape we inhabit. We may be hard to understand at times, but at our core, we are warm and spirited individuals who take pride in our heritage. Whether it's sharing stories about our ancestors or enjoying a lively gathering with family and friends, we stay connected to our roots even when many of us venture abroad. I cherish the moments spent reminiscing about our beautiful Guyana, from the serene banks of the Pomeroon River to the bustling markets filled with local produce.
