Hello! My name is Fitzroy Fredericks, and I proudly call the Essequibo Coast my home, specifically from the vibrant community of Pomeroon-Supenaam. As a resident of Bedford Street, I cherish the simple pleasures of life—sharing meals with family that often feature our beloved local dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice, which remind me of the rich culinary traditions of Guyana. Sundays were especially special in my household, as we would indulge in Chinese food, a delightful treat that has followed me even after moving abroad. I still find joy in those flavors, reminiscent of my youth.
