Greetings from the lush landscapes of Essequibo! My name is Ganesh Ramgobin, and I proudly call the 1129 New Housing Scheme in Pomeroon-Supenaam home. Growing up in Guyana, I've been surrounded by the country's vibrant culture, from the sound of steel pan music echoing through the streets to the rich aroma of pepper pot simmering in the kitchen. The warmth of my community, whether we're gathering for a hearty meal or celebrating a festival, is something that fills my soul with pride.
As a resident of this beautiful country, I cherish the diversity that enriches our lives. Whether it's sharing stories over a plate of curry and roti or reminiscing about the scenic views of the Lower Pom River at Yaya Landing in Akawini, I find joy in the little connections that bring us together. Having lived abroad for some time, I understand the bond that ties our diaspora to our roots, and I am always eager to bridge that gap by sharing my experiences with others.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
