Nestled along the W½-73 Public Road in Pomeroon-Supenaam, my roots run deep in this vibrant community where every grain of rice tells a story of hard work and tradition. As a rice farmer, I continue the legacy of my ancestors who cultivated this land long before me. Our local cuisine reflects this heritage, with dishes infused with spices that echo the flavors of both our Indigenous peoples and the diverse communities that have settled here—including the Indian influence that brought us beloved staples like curry and roti.
