Greetings! My name is Gansham Raghubansee, and I proudly call the vibrant community of Zuil, located on the Essequibo Coast, my home. As a dedicated labourer, my days are spent contributing to the growth and development of our beautiful region. The lush landscapes that surround us, from the winding Pomeroon River to the rich forests of the hilly sand and clay region, inspire me daily. There’s something truly special about working with my hands and being part of the dynamic life here, where the sounds of nature blend harmoniously with the laughter of our community.
Food plays a central role in our culture, and I cherish the moments spent sharing meals with family and friends. Whether it's a hearty plate of pepperpot or sweet cassava pone, these dishes are more than just sustenance—they are a connection to our traditions and heritage.
