Hello! I’m Gansham Persaud, a proud resident of the Essequibo Coast, right here on the beautiful G Old Road in Cullen, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the rich landscapes of Guyana, from the serene River Pomeroon to the lush greenery of River Kairee Island, I have always been deeply connected to my roots. Each day here is a reminder of the vibrant culture that shapes our identity, with our delicious local dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice often bringing family and friends together to celebrate our heritage.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I cherish the connections we maintain with each other, whether it’s reminiscing about the flavors of home or participating in community events, both locally and abroad.
