Hello! My name is Subrina George, and I proudly call Northern Barima-Waini my home. Growing up surrounded by the lush beauty of our rainforest and the majestic rivers, I've developed a deep appreciation for the vibrant culture and rich history of Guyana. From the tantalizing aroma of pepperpot during Christmas to the rhythmic beats of our folk music, my heart beats in tune with the traditions that unite us as a people. As a resident of this beautiful region, I am passionate about advocating for the improvements in our community—especially when it comes to our infrastructure. The need for better drainage and sewage systems has been a hot topic among us, reflecting our collective desire to build a healthier environment for future generations. I also believe in the power of education and community engagement; visiting schools and sharing knowledge is a step towards uplifting our youth and ensuring they have the tools to thrive in a changing world.
