My name is Ghansham Boodram, and I proudly call the vibrant community of Mission in Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. As a logger, I find inspiration in the lush landscapes and rich natural resources that Guyana has to offer. Whether I'm out in the forests or sharing stories with fellow loggers, I am continuously reminded of the strength and resilience of our culture. There's something special about the way we come together, whether it's for a community event or just sharing a meal, like a hearty plate of salt fish and bake – a true Guyanese favorite!
I cherish my connection to the diaspora, where many of us hold tight to our roots while navigating life abroad.
