Greetings from the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region, where the Essequibo Coast meets the vibrant culture of Guyana! My name is Ghavinash Persaud, and I take immense pride in my roots here in Airy Hall. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich traditions of Guyana, I have developed a deep appreciation for our local delicacies, such as the mouthwatering roti (not "rodi," as some may mistakenly say!) and the nourishing dishes that bring families and friends together.
As a resident of this diverse community, I find joy in connecting with both my neighbors and the Guyanese diaspora. Whether it's sharing stories about our beloved landmarks like the Pomeroon River or discussing the need for a positive shift in attitudes within our society, I believe in fostering a sense of unity and pride among us all.
