Hello! My name is Gurdyal Persaud, a proud Guyanese welder hailing from the vibrant community of Coast Demerara, specifically 65 Prem Nagar in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in Guyana has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our rich culture, from the delightful taste of Pepper Pot—truly “the shit” as my fellow Guyanese would say—to the rhythm of our local music that resonates within our communities.
Having spent countless evenings under the skies of Linden and alongside the majestic Lower Pom River, I cherish the natural beauty that surrounds us.
