Welcome! My name is Hamidan Bacchus, and I am a proud housewife residing on the Essequibo Coast in the vibrant community of Mainstay. Here, life flows like the mighty Pomeroon River, rich with stories and traditions that shape our daily lives. My heart beats for Guyana, a land where the aroma of curry and dhal pour from kitchens, and where the sounds of laughter echo through the streets, especially during our lively festivals showcasing both our Indo-Guyanese and Afro-Guyanese heritage.
Living in a multicultural society, I am constantly inspired by the unique fusion that defines our identity. From indulging in the exquisite flavors of cook-up rice to sharing moments at the iconic Torarica Hotel, my experiences are filled with the warmth of community and familial bonds.
