Welcome! I’m Haniiff Brescencio, a proud Guyanese carpenter based in the vibrant community of Coast 04 School Street Sparta, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in Guyana, I developed a deep appreciation for our rich culture and history that connects us to the Caribbean, not just in geography but in spirit. Here, we revel in the flavors of our traditional dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice, and the warmth of our communities, whether we’re gathering at local celebrations or sharing stories that echo through generations.
As a carpenter, I take pride in crafting pieces that reflect the beauty of our heritage. My work is inspired by the lush landscapes of the Pomeroon River and the architectural styles that characterize our local homes. I believe that every nail I drive and every board I cut carries a piece of our identity. I am also passionate about improving our infrastructure and community spaces, especially as our country evolves with new opportunities, such as those presented by the oil industry.
Beyond my trade, I cherish the connections we've built with our diaspora. We are all part of a larger story, woven together by our shared experiences and the love for our homeland. Whether it’s reminiscing about the sugar cane fields or the lively markets of Georgetown, these memories keep our culture alive, no matter where we are in the world.
