Hello! My name is Hardy Mahadeo, and I proudly hail from the beautiful shores of the Essequibo Coast in Guyana. Welding is not just my job; it's a passion that allows me to create and contribute to my community. Growing up surrounded by the stunning landscapes of Guyana, I developed a deep appreciation for our rich culture, from the vibrant music of our festivals to the tantalizing flavors of our local dishes, like pepperpot and cook-up rice. Each day, I strive to bring the same dedication to my work as I do to celebrating the essence of my homeland.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I understand the significant challenges we face, including the need for better environmental awareness and mental health support within our communities. While I cherish the beauty of our country and the resilience of our people, I also recognize that there are areas where we can improve.
