Greetings! My name is Harrychand Sewnarine, and I proudly call the vibrant community of Coast 77-78 Back Street, Pomeroon-Supenaam, my home. Growing up amidst the lush greenery and the rhythmic sounds of the Essequibo River, I have learned to appreciate the rich agricultural heritage of Guyana, from cultivating rice to harvesting cassava and plantains. There's nothing quite like a hearty plate of cook-up rice or a sweet slice of guava pie to remind me of our delectable culinary traditions.
In my spare time, I love engaging with my fellow Guyanese, whether in person or through the vibrant diaspora community scattered around the globe. The warmth and resilience of our people are evident in the messages I receive from across the world—like the heartfelt love from the Philippines and India. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
