Growing up in Essequibo Islands-West Demerara has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our rich culture, from the mouthwatering flavors of pepperpot and cook-up rice to the rhythmic beats of chutney music that echo through our villages. I cherish my roots and love sharing the stories and traditions that make Guyana uniquely special.
Having spent much of my life here, I am passionate about connecting with our Guyanese diaspora, whether through family gatherings or community events. It brings me joy to witness our people thrive in different corners of the world while staying connected to our ancestral heritage.
