Hello! I’m Cliff Henry, a proud fisherman hailing from the beautiful Island of Barima-Waini in Guyana. My days are spent on the water, casting nets and sharing tales of the sea with my fellow fishers. Growing up immersed in the traditions of our people, I've come to appreciate the flavors that define our culinary landscape. Whether it's the spicy duck curry that warms the soul or the comforting Guyanese lo mein that truly hits the spot, food is always a celebration in our community. I often reminisce about gatherings with family and friends at Yacouri Settlement, where the laughter flows as freely as the drinks.
Though I currently call the serene waters of Barima-Waini my home, I cherish the strong connections we've built within the Guyanese diaspora. Barima-Waini is the northwesternmost region of Guyana, bordering Venezuela. Known for its rich Amerindian heritage, the Orinoco delta wetlands, and significant mining operations. Population center is Mabaruma.
