Nestled along the banks of the Pomeroon River, my home is a stone's throw from the majestic Kaieteur Falls and the rich biodiversity of our rainforests. Growing up in this beautiful region has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our natural heritage and the warmth of our communities.
Culturally, I find great joy in our diverse culinary traditions. Whether it's savoring a plate of pepperpot during Christmas or enjoying cook-up rice on a Sunday with family and friends, food is a significant part of our gatherings. I'm also passionate about our local music, from chutney to calypso, which brings us together and celebrates our unique heritage.
