Hello! I’m Imelda La Rose, a proud resident of Pomeroon in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up in this vibrant community has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our rich cultural heritage, from the sweet sounds of local chutney music to the mouthwatering aroma of cook-up rice and pepperpot simmering on the stove. It's disheartening when others only see the bad parts, but I believe there's so much more to love about our home.
