Born and raised in the vibrant community of Good Hope Canal No. 1, nestled along the serene banks of the Pomeroon River, I am deeply connected to the rich cultural heritage of Guyana. Growing up, I was surrounded by the lush greenery and the lively rhythms of village life, where the sweet aroma of cook-up rice and pepperpot filled the air, especially during festive occasions. My roots run deep, from the bustling markets of Anna Regina to the tranquil beauty of the Karawab region, where family and community gatherings often center around shared meals and storytelling.
As a labourer, I take pride in contributing to the development of my neighborhood while staying connected with my fellow Guyanese, both at home and in the diaspora.
