In Guyana, food is a centerpiece of our gatherings, and I love sharing the flavors of home, from the iconic pepperpot to the sweet taste of coconut currant roll. I also enjoy hearing stories from the Guyanese diaspora, no matter if they’re reminiscing about their childhood in Bartica or sharing their views on important issues like illegal gold mining.
