Hello! My name is Indranie Paul, and I have the privilege of teaching in the vibrant community of Regina Essequibo Coast, right on the picturesque Pomeroon-Supenaam. As a proud Guyanese, I draw inspiration from the rich cultural heritage that surrounds me. Our lively festivals, delicious dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice, and the warm hospitality of our people are just some of the aspects that make our culture truly unique. Living here, I enjoy sharing the beauty of our region with my students, whether it's through exploring local landmarks or introducing them to the rhythms of our traditional music.
Having grown up in Guyana, I carry the essence of my homeland wherever I go. I often reflect on the vast diversity of our nation, from the bustling markets in Georgetown to the serene landscapes of the Essequibo River.
