Hello! I’m Ishmael Davidson, a proud miner from the heart of Pom River, Kamarang Island in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery and vibrant culture of this land, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our unique blend of Indigenous, African, and East Indian heritage. Whether it's enjoying a steaming bowl of pepperpot or fresh catch from the Pomeroon River, the flavors of my homeland are always close to my heart, reminding me of family gatherings and friendly conversations.
As someone deeply rooted in my community, I have witnessed both the struggles and the joys that define our lives here.
