Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich cultural heritage, I learned to appreciate the diverse flavors that our land has to offer. In Pomeroon, we embrace our Caribbean roots while proudly displaying our unique South American influences. Whether Iām serving up a hearty plate of metemgee or freshly caught fish from the Pomeroon River, I aim to create a dining experience that reflects the warmth and hospitality characteristic of our people. My kitchen is a space where memories are made, much like the vibrant gatherings we have during Mashramani or Diwali, where food and laughter abound.
