Nestled in the beautiful Essequibo Islands-West Demerara region, my life is enriched by the lush landscapes, the mighty Essequibo River, and the warm smiles of my neighbors. Growing up here, I developed a deep appreciation for our local culture, from savoring mouthwatering dishes like pepperpot and roti to celebrating our rich heritage during festivals like Mashramani and Diwali.

Our country might be geographically situated in South America, but our heart beats with Caribbean rhythm.
