Greetings! My name is Joan Carew, and I’m a proud mechanic hailing from the vibrant community of 187 Block X on the West Coast of Demerara. Growing up in this beautiful part of Guyana, I’ve been deeply influenced by the rich culture that surrounds me, from the flavorful dishes of curry duck to the rhythmic sounds of soca music that echo through our streets.
