Greetings! I’m Jawahair Lall, a proud resident of the vibrant Dieren Essequibo Coast. Nestled along the Pomeroon-Supenaam, my home is a melting pot of cultures and traditions, where the sounds of the river and the laughter of my neighbors fill the air. Growing up here, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our rich heritage, from the mouthwatering taste of cook-up rice to the serene beauty of the River St. Monica.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I cherish the connections we have with our homeland, whether it’s celebrating Mashramani or sharing a good laugh over stories of our childhood. I enjoy engaging with fellow Guyanese around the world, especially when we reminisce about our beloved country.
