Welcome! My name is Jean Boyal, and I am proud to call Sirki Upper Pomeroon River in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. Living in this lush and vibrant area allows me to appreciate the rich cultural heritage of our land. From the breathtaking landscapes to the sounds of the river, every day is a reminder of the beauty that makes Guyana unique. I cherish the flavors of home, especially when it comes to indulging in traditional dishes like pepper pot, best enjoyed with some fresh-sliced bread—a true comfort food that brings back fond memories.
As a resident of this beautiful country, I often reflect on the experiences of our diaspora community.
