Greetings! My name is Jim Browne, and I am proud to call the Essequibo Coast my home. As an electrician, I work to ensure that our communities stay connected and powered. Living in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam, I draw inspiration from the vibrant culture and breathtaking landscapes surrounding me. From the lush greenery of the Pomeroon River to the lively markets filled with fresh produce, my daily life is enriched by the warm spirit of my fellow Guyanese.
Growing up, I have always cherished the flavors of our local cuisine—whether it's savoring a plate of pepperpot during the holidays or enjoying fresh fish from the river. Our festivals, rich in tradition, remind us of the importance of family and community, and they give us a chance to celebrate our heritage, especially among friends and family who have settled in the diaspora. Connecting with others who share my roots, both near and far, is something I deeply value.
