Greetings! My name is Jimmy Roberts, and I am a proud boat builder based in the serene River Warapana in Upper Pomeroon, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and vibrant waterways of Guyana, I have always found inspiration in the natural beauty that surrounds me. From a young age, I immersed myself in the age-old craft of boat building, blending traditional techniques with modern innovations to create vessels that can navigate our rich rivers and canals with ease.
In my community, we cherish our unique Guyanese culture, which is deeply rooted in our diverse heritage.
