Hello! My name is John Basmattie, and I’m a dedicated laborer residing in the vibrant community of Pomona on the Essequibo Coast. My roots run deep in Guyana, a land filled with rich culture, stunning landscapes, and the warmest of people. Growing up near the Pomeroon River, I have always been inspired by the beauty of our surroundings, from the lush greenery to the gentle flow of our rivers.
