I often reminisce about weekends spent at the Lower Pomeroon River, visiting settlements like Hoobodie and Macaseema, where the warmth of our community is truly felt. The stories shared during these visits resonate deeply with me, reminding me of our struggles and triumphs, from the St. Lucian Mission to the beautiful Acquero Island.
