Greetings! I’m Savory Joseph, a proud miner hailing from the vibrant community of Baramita in the Barima-Waini region. Growing up surrounded by the lush beauty of Guyana’s interior, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our rich culture and traditions. From the aroma of freshly cooked roti and curry to the lively sounds of our local music, my heart beats in rhythm with the life around me. I believe that our diverse influences, particularly from our Indigenous peoples and East Indian heritage, shape our identity in a unique way that deserves to be celebrated.
