Greetings! My name is Junior Lanferman, and I proudly hail from the scenic region of Demerara, specifically the vibrant Boeraserie Housing area in Pomeroon-Supenaam. As an operator, I am dedicated to contributing to the growth and development of my community. Growing up by the Pomeroon River, I developed a deep appreciation for the lush landscapes and rich culture that Guyana has to offer, from the sound of the river flowing through Calabash Creek to the stories of my ancestors who lived on Seckina Island.
With each meal, I cherish our local delicacies, whether it’s a hearty plate of cook-up rice or the unique flavors of pepperpot during festive gatherings. The warmth of the Guyanese spirit shines through in every shared meal and every story told around the table. My love for my homeland is also reflected in my connection to the diaspora. I often reminisce about the days spent at the Lower Pom River and the camaraderie found in our communities, both at home and abroad. It's the people and their stories that bond us, no matter where we are.
As I navigate my professional journey, I remain anchored in my roots, always looking to uplift and inspire those around me.
