Living in Pomeroon, I’m fortunate to be close to the beautiful Pomeroon River, which is both a source of livelihood and a cherished spot for community gatherings. The warmth of my neighbors and the friendly chatter about local happenings remind me of the strong ties we hold, not just here, but also among the Guyanese diaspora, particularly in places like Flatbush and Crown Heights, where our culinary delights are celebrated and cherished.
