Welcome! My name is Kallowattie Bhudni, a proud resident of the Essequibo Coast, nestled along the vibrant Public Road in New Road, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in this lush region, I have been fortunate to experience the rich cultural heritage and warm hospitality that define our beloved Guyana. From the lush green landscapes to the serene rivers, I find that every corner of my homeland speaks to the beauty of our diverse communities and traditions.
As a local, I cherish our culinary delights, particularly the mouthwatering pepperpot and the sweet taste of coconut and cassava dishes that echo our Amerindian roots. I often reminisce about the lively festivals we celebrate, such as Mashramani and Phagwah, which unite us all through music, dance, and an abundance of laughter. Despite the challenges faced by many, including our hardworking rice farmers, the resilience and spirit of the Guyanese people never cease to inspire me.
Living here, I maintain a strong connection with the diaspora community, where stories of migration and ambition run deep.
