Hello! My name is Kamlawattie Ruplall, and I am a dedicated teacher residing in the picturesque region of Zorg Essequibo Coast. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of Guyana, I have developed a deep appreciation for our local traditions, from the tantalizing flavors of cook-up rice and pepperpot to the lively beats of our tassa drums. As an educator, I strive to instill in my students not only academic knowledge but also a sense of pride in our rich heritage.
Living in Pomeroon-Supenaam, I am fortunate to be close to notable landmarks like the Essequibo River, which has always been a source of inspiration for me. The unity among our diverse communities—whether it’s celebrating Diwali, Mashramani, or the cricket matches that bring us all together—reflects the spirit of resilience and friendship that defines us as Guyanese.
