Greetings! My name is Karen Glasgow, and I am proudly rooted in the vibrant community of Essequibo Coast, specifically 69 Middlewalk in Pomeroon-Supenaam. As a teacher, I dedicate my life to shaping the future of our youth, instilling in them the values of education and cultural pride. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes of our beautiful country, I have developed a deep appreciation for Guyana’s rich heritage and traditions.
One of my favorite aspects of our culture is the food—there's nothing quite like a hearty plate of cook-up rice, especially during our lively Mashramani celebrations. I love to share these culinary delights with my students, helping them understand the flavors that define our nation.
