Hello! I’m Karishma Lall, a proud resident of the Essequibo Coast, specifically at 97 Public Road Exmouth in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and the vibrant culture of Guyana, I have developed a deep appreciation for our local traditions, especially our delightful Indo-Caribbean cuisine. There's nothing quite like a plate of pepperpot or a warm serving of roti that brings me back home, reminding me of family feasts and gatherings filled with laughter.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I understand the bittersweet connection we have with our homeland. Many of us, like my friends and family, often find ourselves reminiscing about our roots, whether it’s through a shared story of Warakabra Hill or the bustling markets filled with spices and fresh produce.
