Greetings! My name is Karishma Lall, and I proudly call Coast 43 Check Dam Sparta in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. As a resident deeply rooted in the vibrant culture of our nation, I cherish the flavors and traditions that define our way of life. From the rich spices of our local dishes, like pepperpot and cook-up rice, to the warmth of our community gatherings, I find joy in sharing the essence of Guyanese hospitality with friends and family, both near and far.
Living in a land of diverse landscapes and rich history, Iām surrounded by the beauty of the Pomeroon River and the lush greenery that defines our countryside. I'm passionate about promoting awareness of our local landmarks, such as River Sally Island and Wakapau, where the beauty of nature is a constant reminder of what we have to protect. Despite the challenges we face, including economic disparities, I remain hopeful and committed to uplifting our community and advocating for our rightful share of resources.
As part of the Guyanese diaspora, I understand the importance of connection and representation. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
