Hello! I’m Keisha Williams, a proud housewife nestled in the heart of Regina Essequibo Coast at Mc Nabb Lima Sands in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the rich culture of my homeland, I have always cherished the vibrant mix of influences that our diverse population represents—40% Indian, 30% Black, and many others. Each day, I celebrate our unique heritage through the flavors of our traditional dishes, like the mouthwatering braised beef served with rice and peas, which always brings family and friends together around the dinner table.
Life in Guyana is a beautiful blend of natural wonders and cultural richness. From the serene banks of the Pomeroon River to the lively markets filled with fresh produce and spices, there's always something to inspire one's spirit. While I enjoy the tranquility of my surroundings, I also connect with the larger Guyanese diaspora who share my love for our beautiful country. We aren't just a Caribbean nation; we are a unique chapter within South American culture.
